The new Pedrini GS240 Multiwire machine with 4.3 mm diamond wire has been in operation for over a year and a half and is establishing itself as a benchmark in the industry. Many customers are already experiencing the advantages of this Multiwire machine for cutting marble, granite, quartzites, and fragile materials.
In particular, in Northern Italy and the Carrara area, alongside the Multiwire machines using 5.3 mm wire, there is a growing number of recent installations by Pedrini using 4.3 mm wire.
The first GS240 was installed at Marmi Orobici e Graniti. The machine is equipped with 72 diamond wires with a diameter of 4.3 mm, achieving a yield of 39.2 m²/m³ per processed block.
The combination of the 2.3 m flywheel, the reduced wire diameter, and advanced technology enables precise and thin cutting.
Marmi Scaligera Srl, located in the heart of the Verona stone district, also chose the new GS240, equipped with 80 diamond wires, adding it to its two existing Pedrini Multiwire machines.
Further confirmation comes from Marmi Rossi Spa, also in the same area, which has installed several Pedrini Multiwire machines over time and is now focusing on the new GS240 with 4.3 mm wire.
The GS240 with 4.3 mm wire now represents a comprehensive solution, capable of combining yield, productivity, and what has become a true “must” today: environmental sustainability.
