SME’s Will Become Exporters Thanks to The Export Academy

Export Academy aims to help each company export 50 percent of their production

Turkey, planning to receive 1.5 percent share from the world exports, aims to increase the number of exporters to 120 thousand by 2023. In order to achieve these goals, the Aegean Exporters’ Unions and BASİFED (Federation of Industrialists and Businessmen’s Associations of Western Anatolia) have set up the Export Academy, which will help companies export 50 % of their products with an export-oriented vision

Eskinazi: “Each factory should export at least 50 percent of its production”

The Coordinator Chairman of Aegean Exporters Association, Jak Eskinazi said: “The main cause of economic fluctuations experienced in Turkey is caused by the evaluation of resources in the fields that don’t generate added value, instead of adopting a production and export-oriented growth approach. Each factory should export at least 50 percent of its production. We aim to increase the number of exporters, who follow the developments in the world, make production in the world standards, and sell value-added products to all parts of the world. With the Export Academy, we aim to increase the number of exporters and contribute to growth in the overall export figures.”

Ösen: “Our goal is to make SMEs Qualified Enough to Make Export”

BASİFED Chairman Seda Kaya Ösen claimed that recovery from the economic problems is possible with production and export, Ösen said: “The key to global success can be achieved via production and exportation. We would like to remind you once again of the importance of having enough equipment to access new markets and expand in existing markets. We are implementing the Export Academy Training Program in cooperation with the Aegean Exporters’ Associations in order to let the companies discover their own capacities, see their positions in the market and realize how ready they are for foreign trade.”

Trainings to be Offered at the Academy

Those who will attend the Export Academy, will have the opportunity to listen to the export experiences of two prominent names of Turkish exports, Sabri Ünlütürk, the Former Export Coordinator of Aegean Exporters’ Associations, and Jak Galiko, the President of Aegean Leather and Leather Products Exporters Association,

In the Export Academy, professionals will give trainings on the subjects such as; How to become an exporter?, Target Market Research, Export Supports and Financing Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, KOSGEB, Eximbank and İŞKUR Supports, International Marketing Strategies, Pricing Strategies in Foreign Trade, Payment and Delivery Methods, E-Commerce Applications, Micro Export and Logistics and Export Operations and Documentation Training.

Export Academy Training Program to be held in the EIB Service Building in cooperation with Aegean Exporters’ Unions (EİB) and BASİFED, will be carried out between 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm on weekdays. The Training Program, which started on 16 October 2018 Tuesday, will end on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
