The aim of Aegean Antique Marble, which has been operating in the natural stone sector for 17 years with its high quality products, aims to open sales offices in five continents and establish joint stores in at least 10 countries.
The most important goal of Aegean Antique Marble, recognizing itself as a prestigious, reliable and principled Turkish company moving with the desire to sell quality end products, is to raise awareness for Turkish natural stone
Perhaps the most important feature that distinguishes Aegean Antique Marble from many other companies is that it is not profit oriented but a quality oriented company. Aegean Antique Marble, which moves with the desire to sell valuable products, design products and end products instead of selling high amounts of stone, creates awareness for Turkish natural stone in the market. Sabri Bora, the owner of Aegean Antique Marble, says, “To be recognized as a Turkish company that is principled and reliable company, comes before all the statistical targets for us. We are a company that domestic and international marble companies choose to make business with, in natural stone solutions thanks to our sectoral knowledge and principles.”
Wide Production Network
Sabri Bora, expressing that they are able to provide natural stone nearly from 100 quarries and factories including the leading companies of the sector, said: “Our main goal is to provide appropriate natural stone to projects with a professional point of view. At this point, as we have been working with many quarries and factories in different parts of Turkey, I can say that we hold one of the widest production networks in Turkey.”
Aegean Antique Marble’s annual performance is based on export. The countries where Aegean Antique Marble is most active in natural stone export are Oman, Azerbaijan, Poland, Brazil, Ghana and Singapore.
Turkish stones in prestigious projects
Bora, indicating that they are working hard in order Turkish natural stones to take part in prestigious projects, said that they have done very successful, high scale works especially with onyx. Bora said: “We mainly provide stone for state projects. Other than the state projects, we have also been involved in very valuable projects such as the PINK BEACH HOTEL project. We are highly satisfied to be part of such gauge projects.”
Raising Awareness
Bora, noting that they don’t make block exports and never plan to work with the depots that provide regular product groups said: “Our only goal is ‘to raise awareness for Turkish natural stone’. Since we act with this principle, we established a positive image in both the overseas market and domestic market. As one of the delegates of Aegean Mineral Exporters Association that represent the sector, we are doing our best to provide the best service not only for ourselves, but also for our sector and our colleagues. I believe that, as the selected Coordinator President of UR-GE Committees, we will achieve creating synergy and enthusiasm in the mineral sector in order to access the sectoral targets with our colleagues. We place industrial competitiveness aside and care about cooperation and strength for the sake of our country in these days when the world is going through the most troublesome periods.
The importance of team work
Bora said, “We have a very innovative and reliable team that consists of engineers, marketing and documentation experts and field personnel who have gained experience in the sector for many years. I am very pleased to have hardworking, visionary and loyal employees in this sector. We also have occasional trainings about the personal and professional development of our colleagues. We sent some of our friends to Italy twice last year. This year we will send a geological engineer to Australia. We have already identified our friends who will be attending in the Middle East Stone and Big5 Show Fairs, Our company has caught its 2018 target. We are striving for our 2019-2020 goals.” Bora concluded that the industry will work hard to contribute to the 2023 plans of the sector.
