Middle East Stone Loses Its Charm

The fourth East Stone Fair, which was being organized in May for the last three years, was held at the World Trade Center in Dubai on September 4-6, 2018.

In 2017, on the third edition of the Middle East Stone Fair, there had been a significant decrease in the number of participants and visitors.It was the same this year. It is obvious that the Middle East Stone Fair has been losing blood every other year. Of course, we can not say that all the exhibitors are not satisfied with the fair. Although, there are some participants that think the fair is fruitfull, when we look at the general, the fair, which took place in May at around 40 degrees, can not provide a satisfying commercial atmosphere to the participants. We think that the number of participants will also be decreased next year.

30 companies from Turkey, exhibited in the 7th hall

On the 4th year of the Middle East Stone Fair, 30 Turkish companies participated within the Turkish National Participation, organized by Ladin Fair Organization. The highest participation rate of Turkish companies was realized in 2016 with 67 companies. The decline in Turkish participation was also seen in the general number of participants. The number of exhibitors in the fair, which had been 253 last year, was 200 this year. Besides Turkey, there were national participant organizations from Brazil, China, Italy, Portugal and Greece.
