Afyon, Turkey: the choice is Pedrini

After the installation of their first Pedrini GS230 JUPITER multiwire machines and the

excellent technical and commercial responses, they once again chose Pedrini’s experience, renewing their initial decisions.

Pedrini supported HBB Madencilik in the construction of their new factory, which covers approximately 22,000 m² of enclosed space.

The facility, located in a strategic position, is on the main road connecting Ankara to Afyon.

The factory layout has been carefully studied by the two companies, and the positioning of the machines has been gradually improved to allow them to optimize the material flow during production.

The project includes the installation of two large new Multiwire machines, that enable HBB Madencilik to cut all kinds of materials, even fragile and delicate ones:

A Pedrini Multiwire Jupiter with 108 diamond wires, for cutting exotic marble, granite, and quartzite blocks into thin slabs up to 12 mm thick.
A Pedrini Multiwire Jupiter with 72 diamond wires, for cutting marble, granite, and quartzite exotic blocks into slabs of various thicknesses.

A marble slab polishing line, covering the following machines:

Butterfly B416, a fully automatic loading and unloading system, also suitable for vein tracking operations.
Galaxy B220MX with 10 heads, a slab polishing machine.
UV oven, for filling.
Galaxy B220MX with 18 heads, a slab polishing machine.
Waxing machine, with an anti-scratch system for protection during packaging and transportation.

To expand the range of materials offered to the market and fully satisfy the customer needs, HBB Madencilik has also installed a GALAXY B220 GX-20 polishing line, including the following machines for exotic stones such as granite and quartzite:

Butterfly B416, a fully automatic loading and unloading system, also suitable for vein tracking operations.
B220GX with 20 heads, a slab polishing machine that includes an integrated system, offering the option to use granite polishing heads for marble slabs as well.

Thanks to these solutions, developed together with a team of Pedrini experts, the company

can increase its production capability, by efficiently processing marble, granite, and other exotic stones such as quartzite.
