The Dubai BIG 5 Show, which has become the largest meeting point in the Middle East in the construction sector, took place for the 38th time from 26th to 29th of November, 2017.
Dubai Big5 show was visited by 65.000 visitors from 140 countries. In the show, there were 2600 participants from 64 countries among which there were 240 companies from Turkey.
Dubai BIG 5 Show, the biggest building fair in the Middle East, brought together industry professionals, experts and international company officials from around the world for the 38th time with the latest technology products and services between November 26th to 29th of 2017. The Dubai BIG 5 Show, which hosted 2,600 participants from 64 countries and 65,000 visitors from 140 countries enabled its participants’ expand their network map with B2B meetings.
An Exhibition full of events
Conferences, seminars and CPD-certified workshops were held this year in the Dubai BIG 5 Show, which was opened by Sheikh Ahmet bin Said al-Maktum, the President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the CEO of the Emirates Group. Turkish companies that attract attention with their products from all areas of construction sector such as construction, building materials, construction, panels, marble, rubber products, ready-mixed concrete elements, prefabricated materials and heating, cooling and ventilation products, showed great interest in the show. Turkish participants received great advantage from the fair, which helped them establish new connections and access to new markets.
Turkish companies exhibited on 5 thousand square meters space
As it was in the previous years, the Platinum Sponsor of Dubai BIG 5 Show Fair was its Turkish representative Expotim, who brought 240 Turkish companies to the fair. Expotim and Ladin Group Chief Executive Officer Çağatay Erşahin, who provided the largest Turkish National Participation in Dubai BIG 5 Show with a stand area of approximately 5,000 square meters said, “We took place with 240 companies in the Dubai BIG 5 Show, which is the biggest and best building and building materials event in the Middle East and we are getting very good returns as result of our affords. We were the Platinum Sponsor of the fair. Here, we promoted Turkey and Turkish natural stone products via promotion materials such as badges and billboards with ‘Turkey, Discover The Potential’ slogan on them. Through B2B meetings, we tried to pull more visitors to our stands. Thus, Turkish participants enjoyed great business potentials during the fair.”
“Next year’s participation will be even greater”
Erşahin said: “We can already feel the potancial of next years’ show. Thanks to the prestige of the Dubai BIG 5 Fair, we have already started the works toward 2018 before the end of 2017 event. Because there is high interest for this fair. During the fair; more than half of the participating companies, have booked their stands for 2018. This is a positive signal about the increasing number of Turkish participants in Dubai Big 5 Show 2018.
