“We will continue to Support the Sector ”
ITE EMEA Regional Director Kemal Ülgen, who stated that Yapı-Turkeybuild Istanbul has been mirroring the construction and building materials sector of our country as an international platform for 42 years, said: “In 2019, export seems to be an important way out for the construction sector. Exports of construction materials are expected to increase by 7-8% and reach $ 23 billion. Opportunities are expected to be improved in export markets for all sub-sector groups. In the domestic market, unlike other years, two more developments are among the expectations. One of them is the acceleration of the renewal market with the decrease in demand for new construction works, and the other is the increase in the supply from the domestic market due to the exchange rate limitation on imports. As Yapı-Turkeybuild Istanbul, we will continue to support the increasing value of the construction and building sectors”.
