The company, which has been improving its position in the sector with sure steps in the for 20 years, opened a new quarry in Isparta Sütçüler in September 2016. Onur said: “We currently have 6 active quarries. The Ozzy Gray stone from our Isparta Sütçüler Quarry is a gray colored stone with a specific weight of 2.85. Ozzy Gray, which we export as block and cut to size slab, received great popularity in the market. We aim to export 50 thousand tons of Ozzy Gray this year.”
The new target for export: 25 million dollars
Onur said: “We process our stones in our 20 thousand m2 factory in Turunçova town of Finike, Antalya. Our company, which is expert in Limestone production, produces blocks, slabs and tiles and serves to medium and large-scale projects. We prefer domestic brand machines in our machine park in the factory. Our domestic machinery producers have caught European standards in manufacturing. We export our products mainly to America, Russia, Middle East and Europe. The Middle East, South America and China markets have recently become remarkable in the sector. Our target for natural stone export for 2017 is 25 million dollars. Onur Marble will participate in natural stone fairs in Xiamen, Verona, Dubai, Jeddah, İzmir and America in 2017.”
Our government should facilitate our official transactions
Onur said: “Our company continues to invest consciously despite the economic and political fluctuations in the world. We are purchasing latest system machinery and equipments that can be used both in our quarries and in our factories. We encourage our staff get necessary training and documents in order to become more specialized and productive. We are doing our best to carry Turkish natural stone sector to the position it deserves. We want our government to help the sector in this regard and facilitate our official transactions. “
