KEDA Group is a globally operating company in the field of ceramic and stone processing machinery. Founded in 1992, the company has established a strong position in the industry with its innovative R&D approach, advanced technologies, and high-quality manufacturing standards. KEDA Group’s vision in the stone machinery sector is to lead the industry by offering high efficiency and sustainable solutions. In this interview, we explored KEDA’s journey, its R&D strategies, and future goals to gain deeper insights into its role and impact in the sector.

 

  1. What is the founding story of your company and how did you gain your place in the sector?

KEDA Group was founded in 1992. In the early stage, it focused on the research and development and production of ceramic machinery equipment. In 2002, KEDA was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and became the first listed company in the ceramic machinery industry. At the same time, KEDA began to expand its stone machinery business, providing cutting, polishing and other equipment for stone processing enterprises, and gradually became a leading enterprise in the Chinese stone machinery field.

 

  1. What are the core values of your company and how are these values reflected in the design and production processes of your products?

KEDA Stone Machinery steadfastly adheres to the corporate vision of being a “professional stone equipment manufacturer”. It is deeply committed to the research and development, production, and manufacturing of natural stone and artificial stone processing equipment. Moreover, it is actively engaged in the overall plant planning and construction for stone enterprises, aiming to provide comprehensive and high – quality solutions for the stone industry.

 

  1. Can you tell us about your approach to research and development? What is the idea process behind your innovative products?

The R & D concept of “producing one generation, reserving one generation, and exploring and developing the next” has propelled Keda’s products to continuously penetrate into more advanced and profound domains.

KEDA, driven by the aspiration to become a respected mechanical equipment manufacturing enterprise, pursues excellence and strives unremittingly for the advancement and development of stone machinery manufacturing!

 

  1. What is your company’s newest product or product series that stands out? What innovations does this product/series offer? Can you write about its features?

Marble slim-wire saw is the latest masterpiece of KWDA Stone Machinery. It comes with a This product boasts multiple advantages. It features a narrow cutting saw gap, resulting in a high output rate. The mud discharge is minimal, and it operates with low vibration, which contributes to a low broken slab rate. Moreover, it generates low noise and occupies a small footprint.

 

  1. In which markets do you operate? Who are your target customers?

KEDA Stone Machinery centers its global market on Asia and is steadily entering the high – end markets in Europe and America. By implementing the “technology + service + localization” strategy, it effectively targets customers across the entire stone processing industry chain.

 

  1. How does your company contribute to the sector and how does it make a difference compared to other companies in the sector?

KEDA broke the technological monopoly through independent research and development, launched equipment such as stone cutting machines and polishing machines, and reduced the procurement costs of enterprises.

KEDA transferred the automation experience in the ceramic machinery field to the stone field, improving the level of automation and intelligence in the industry. It achieved the full – process automation of stone cutting and polishing through the numerical control system, reduced dependence on manual labor, and helped customers improve the qualified product rate.

KEDA’s equipment has entered the international market along with the “Belt and Road” projects, assisting local enterprises in developing stone resources. Through promoting the iteration of high – efficiency and energy – saving equipment, it has facilitated the green transformation of the stone industry.

KEDA reduces costs through large – scale production and the Chinese supply chain. The cost – performance of its similar equipment is superior to that of European brands. Compared with Indian equipment, Keda has more advantages in terms of stability and service life.

 

  1. Considering the rapid changes in the sector, what are your future product development strategies?

KEDA will deepen the integration of intelligent and digital technologies, step up the R & D of high – end precision equipment, accelerate the commercialization of green and low – carbon technologies, enhance local technical support, optimize the global layout strategy, and build sustainable product competitiveness.
