FAB Marble Mining Inc. Co. was established in 2016 and operates in domestic and international markets in the field of marketing and marble quarry management together with its sister company Fahri Günel Mining. With its long years of experience in the marble sector, the company has been involved in quarrying, R&D and business operations since 1996. In 2006, SFK Mermer Ltd. started its adventure in Bursa Orhaneli Emperador field with SFK Mermer Ltd. and continued in Antalya Serik Dark Emperador quarry. He continued to grow with Konya Güneysınır Gray field exploration and R&D and Isparta Çandır Ottoman field exploration and R&D studies. In 2013, after terminating the partnership with SFK Marble, it focused on new R&D studies.
In 2015, the quarries, which started with the license process of the white marble field, opened in 2019. However, it had to suspend operations due to the pandemic process. With the end of this challenging period, it accelerated its quarry activities. Quarry investments continue and it maintains its growth strategy by determining its production program according to domestic and international demands. The quarries are located between Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa Sarımustafalar and Haciahmet and produce 2 characteristic stones, Bianco Perla and Bianco Perlato. In 2021, after completing the quarry opening and preparation phases, it has been producing for 2 years. It has 4 selection stones, Bianco Perla Extra, Bianco Perla, Bianco Perlato 1st quality and Bianco Perlato 2nd quality.
The marbles produced appeal to the markets of India, Bangladesh, Spain and China, especially in the Middle East and Arab countries. They are also widely used in the domestic market. Marbles are suitable for processing techniques such as polishing, sandblasting, aging, mosaic surface breaking. In addition, due to the chemical properties of the stone, the wastes are used as raw materials in industries such as rubber industry, plastic sewage pipe manufacturing, ceramic industry, paper industry, feed industry with micronized grinding.
The company continues its R&D, investment, cost and market research. With the permission of the General Directorate of Mining Affairs, the company continues to work for the recycling of the waste into the economy. The stone has the advantage of being easy to cut in factories, less abrasion on saw sockets and fast cutting. In addition, the absence of abrasive minerals such as silica and quartz in terms of mineral structure provides both waste and higher cutting efficiency in the factory processes. Due to the flexible structure of the marble produced, its fragility is less and its strength is higher than some other colored marbles. This makes it easier to process the stone. The product adds width and freshness to interiors and creates a clean ambient air. The company maintains its export-based production policy with the awareness of providing a better life for its employees and a clean environment.
