Gülmer Marble, who is serving in three sectors which are trading, quarry and factory operations, has established a factory. The company plans to build high value added products in its factory equipped with modern Italian Technology.
Gülmer Marble, that began operating in the natural stone sector 10 years ago, has become one of Turkey’s well-known and trust worthy marble companies in the supply of raw blocks, slabs and cut to size products. The company provides the stones of famous marble quarries in Turkey as well as its own products. Gülmer Marble General Manager Dursun Çiftçi said: “We are offering Golden Gray, Isparta Gray, Sasa Gray, Jacka Gray, Adıyaman Emperador, Palisandro along with travertine and marble varieties. Other than these, we also export Burdur Beige from our quarry in Yeşilova, Burdur, which was established in 2010. This high reserve stone is known in the block market as Bauyulan and Light Burdur Beige. Our products in slab and cut to size materials market are being exported with Kamra, Alya, Liva names. These are our registered trademarks.”

Dursun Çiftçi, who gave the following information about the factory investment of the company said: “Our products are suitable for use in many areas such as flooring, covering, decoration and landscaping. We target 70 thousand tons of block production. We aim to export 40 thousand tons of these blocks and process 30 thousand tons of it in our factories. Our factory is established on 24.000 sqm total area with 8300 sqm indoors space in Süleyman Demirel Organized Trade Zone in Isparta. In our factory, there are Italian machines such as Simec gangsaws, 10 head slab hon, makor, uv 16 head slab polish, rapid plate loading and unloading system and Simec bridge cutting, 4 tower Prometec multi layer furnace, Linde forklifts etc. and some other high quality products in the sector. We are currently producing slabs and cut to size products and aim to produce products with high added value in the future.”
Products with High Demand
The company has been selling blocks to the People’s Republic of China, India, Egypt and other Far East countries, and to the Middle East and the Balkans. Çiftçi said: “Our Company hasn’t been much affected adversely from the situation in Chinese market last year. We started to export blocks to India in 2018 block. We are working hard for this market, which we think will develop. 2018 was very fruitful for our factory. Despite the fact that we are a new factory, especially buyers who give importance to the quality, demand natural stone from us. Our quality-oriented factory approach has positively reflected on our sales. We will participate in Xiamen Stone, Izmir MARBLE, Verona Marmomacc, Dubai Big 5 Show, Project Qatar, Bangolera Stona, America Coverings Fairs in 2019.”
