Kemalpaşa Marble attracts great interest in the world market with its standard and unusual boutique marbles from its quarry in Balya, Balıkesir. In our interview with Hüseyin Sarıca, Production and Marketing Manager, we talked about the color of these marbles, their properties, surface treatments, export markets and the perception they create in spaces
Where is the quarry where your stone is produced? How long have you been operating this quarry?
Our company Kemalpaşa Marble, KPM, which has been in the sector for many years, started operations in our quarry in Balya, Balıkesir in 2018, and we have started production activities literally since 2020.
How many different selections come out of this quarry?
Standard boutique and extraordinary boutique marbles are produced from the quarry. We usually have unique and one-of-a-kind selections, as well as selections that replace many products in the market. Our standard selections are known as Grey Root, Silver River, Tectonic Brown, Tectonic Blue, Forest Grey, Astana Grey, Venus Grey, Grey Invisible.
Where do you export this product?
We have difficulty in meeting the intense demands day by day. We export blocks to countries such as Italy, Indonesia, Taiwan, Germany, Russia, India, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Italy, Indonesia, Taiwan, Germany, Germany, Russia, India, Pakistan, Pakistan, China, Egypt and some companies in our own country. As plate and project-based products, we are currently exporting to approximately 30 countries, mainly to countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, Russia, Dubai, the Netherlands, Poland, France, the UK.

The use of our products as very suitable for all kinds of surface treatments provides great advantages. We see great results with many surface treatments such as Polished, Leather Finish, Deep Leather, Honed, Brushed, Sandblast, Striped Surface etc.
What makes your product different from its competitors in the market? Can you tell us about the color and properties of the stone?
We do not think that our products have competitors because they are unique. We are honored by the magic of the positive energy created in the environment by the feedback we have received during their use in the spaces.
