The 40th year of Turkeybuild Istanbul

The 40th edition of Turkeybuild İstanbul, which was held on May 23-27, hosted 82,427 visitors who came to see 18,640 products of more than 1.000 exhibitor companies. 35 companies from Turkish natural stone sector participated the fair. The fair will be held between 8-12 May 2018 next year. Building Fair – Turkeybuild İstanbul was organized by YEM Trade Fair Organization Company between 23 – 27 May 2017 at Tuyap Fair and Congress Center. The 40th edition of the fair, hosted world’s famous award-winning architects, expert speakers from around the world in order to discuss real estate projects, new products, innovation, design, architecture, new business opportunities, the future of the building industry, sustainability, job security, marketing and career issues, through 40 different events,

Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul has once again been the focus of domestic and foreign sector professionals this year, with the international activities and business opportunities it provided. ITE Turkey Board Member and YEM Trade Fairs General Manager Burcu Başer said, “Thanks to all participants and 82.427 visitors, who made Turkeybuild İstanbul the biggest fair in this sector this year. Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul, which has been the biggest summit of Turkish building sector for 40 years, has been providing the sector new markets and information flow. We continue our affords in order to increase the contribution we have made to the building sector, which is so important for the country’s economy. To this end, Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul, hosted visitors from rapidly growing North African Region countries within the “Guest Zone Project” held in the scope of the “Business Development Platform” events. In addition, we provided information flow to sectoral professionals through 40 different activities organized in the titles of architecture, real estate, new products, future of building products, sustainability, job security, design and marketing, which were specifically held for the 40th year of the fair. The great interest in the projects and events that we have carried out gives us strength for the development of the exhibition for the following years. From now on, we will carry out our studies and investments in order to develop this sector.”

Guest Zone North Africa

Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul, hosted visitors from the rapidly growing countries of the North African Region within the “Guest Zone Project” held in the framework of “Business Development Platform” activities. On the first day of the fair, North Africa – Turkey Construction Forum and Bilateral Business Talks were held aiming to create new business opportunities and incentives for investors in North Africa, one of the important markets of Turkish construction sector. Official and private procurement delegations from the region conducted negotiations on new business opportunities, cooperation, purchases and investments with the participant companies.

Events that Support the Business volume

During the fair, many famous names from the sectoral fields such as architecture, real estate, new products, new business opportunities, future of building products, sustainability, job security, design, marketing and career delivered speeches. Following the celebration ceremony held for the 40th anniversary of the fair, the traditional best stand design awards, the “Golden Magnet Awards” were presented.
