Focus Mining, thanks to its planned operation has reached its targets in 2018. The company owner Hakan Karaaslan says that the biggest factor in achieving their goals is to focus on customer satisfaction. Karaaslan says: “We believe that the service is not limited to sales and the customer satisfaction is as important as sales. What brings us success is to pay attention to customer satisfaction.”
Focus Mining … Founded in 2016 under the leadership of entrepreneur Hakan Karaaslan, who has more than 21 years of experience in natural stone sector. The priority of Focus Mining, which has been making active trade with about 80 producers in Turkey, is to obtain a reliable position in the sector. Company owner Karaaslan says: “We strive to be a company that is beyond mediocrity. We are offering high quality, customer-oriented services to our leading partners China and India. In July 2016, we broke a new ground and established Focus Mining, which is a company where the employees have a voice. We are first to achieve this goal in this sector. We will continue to grow with a team of experts and principled sales-marketing methods that will gain recognition in the sector in a short time.”
”Service is not limited to sales“
Karaaslan, stated that Focus Mining aims to establish a stable and long-lasting sales environment which brings together the manufacturer, customer and marketer on a common ground. Karaaslan says: “We have expert sales teams working in all regions of Turkey. We have active trade relations with approximately 80 manufacturers. We are also in contact with many different manufacturers in line with the market progress and the demand of our customers. One of our priorities is to introduce our marble and contribute to the export of our country. Activities focusing on customer and manufacturer satisfaction are multiplying the importance of every material produced in our country. In this respect, we are making extra efforts to offer the best product with the best price and persuade our customers that price is not the single parameter in a competitive environment. We believe that the service is not limited to sales, but also the sales and after-sales customer satisfaction is as important as selling. With this belief, we have seen that every step we take with this principle, strengths the ties between our customers.”
We did well in 2018
Karaaslan further said: “2018 was a very difficult year for our country and the world economy. Especially the global politic atmosphere has put negative impact on the economy. We believe that this will have a stronger impact in 2019. The shrinkage in the Chinese market, where our sector is intensively working in, caused the political conflicts between the US and China that incur uncertainties in the trade of our country and the world. Considering all these economic handicaps, I believe that we have succeeded in 2018 thanks to the experience of our team. The most important parameter for us is to monitor the sector well and see how the demand is directed. For this reason, we are working in order to respond to new developments quickly by coordinating our field team and our team in China, well. In order to achieve the targets set for 2018, we have carried out our efforts in a planned manner. The most important factor in achieving these goals is our focus on the customer satisfaction.”
Fairs are the places where companes hold the pulse of the sector
Karaaslan stating that the international fairs and organizations are the places where the trends of the sector can be followed in the most accurate way, claimed that Focus Mining tries to participate in all international and domestic fairs. He said: “We participated in Xiamen and Yunfu Fairs in China, Bangalore Fair in India and İzmir and Bursa Fairs in Turkey last year. Focus Mining will be exhibiting in Xiamen (China), Yunfu (China), Jiap (India) İzmir and Bursa (Turkey) Fairs in 2019.”
Gray Marble Production Should be Controlled
“Beige Marble, which had been popular in the global markets for many years, left its place to gray marble for the last 1-2 years. In particular, the growing interest for the shades of gray marble in 2018 encouraged the opening of new Gray marble quarries. However, the opening of gray marble quarries and increasing amounts of gray production will cause a certain decline in the intensity of demand, especially in the Chinese market. I believe that it would be beneficial for our producers to make good planning and controlled production of Gray marble.”
