The Aegean Mineral Exporters’ Association (EMİB) will organize a “Sectoral Trade Mission” organization to Verona between 26-29 September 2018 concurrently with the Verona Marmomacc International Natural Stone Fair, one of the three largest fairs in the world in the natural stone industry.
Mevlüt Kaya, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Mineral Exporters Association, stated that the natural stone sector targets of 7 billion dollars worth of natural stone export for 2023. Kaya said that they will introduce aesthetic Turkish natural stones with colour diversity to natural stone importers coming to Verona from all over the world.
Italian Training Processes Will be Analysed
EMIB President Kaya said that Verona Marmomacc International Fair is mainly visited by purchasers that demand processed material and architects that make significant architectural projects. Kaya said: “The Turkish natural stone sector is technologically the most advanced in the world. Despite the fact that we have natural stones with a very nice color variety, we don’t have enough trained blue and white collar human resource to make designs and the finished products. In Italy we will also be able to examine the Italian training processes. We also want to realize the transformation Italy has made 30 years ago. With the Sectoral Trade Mission, we would like to enjoy the best of our trip.”
EMİB President Kaya added that by developing the cooperation environment that they have caught with architects for two years, they aim to enable the use of Turkish natural stone in important architectural projects as Aegean Mineral Exporters Association.
