Star Paradise Grey
The company produces Star Grey Paradise, Star Dark Grey, Star Silver, Star Black and Star Comfort Stones in its two active quarries in Emirdağ Davulga Village of Afyonkarahisar. Kızılırmak says: “The Star Paradise Grey stone of our quarries in Afyonkarahisar is highly demanded in the market. The annual production capacity of this stone, which we have been producing since 2010, is 2000 m3. Our beige stone which has grey shades has a spider web patterned white and emperador structure. This product is suitable for use in office, hotel, plaza, shopping mall, residence and housing project decorations. We aim to access to Far Eastern, European and American markets.”
“We have achieved our goals in 2016”
Kızılırmak adds: “We have 3 licensed quarries with 600 million m3 reserves. We have exported 4000 m3 natural stone in the first 10 months of 2016. We achieved all our goals in 2016. We aim to increase our natural stone export by 30 % in 2017.”
Role of Sectoral Fairs
“Majority of our products are being exported as blocks. We sell our special stones to countries such as Turkey, Italy, England, India, China, Far East and Europe. Star Marble participates in domestic and international fairs every year. We exhibited in İzmir MARBLE, Bursa Block Marble and Antalya Marble Fairs in the period of 2015-2016 and are planning to exhibit in İzmir-Marble, Italy – Marmomacc, Morocco – Maroc Stone, Bursa and Antalya Fairs in 2017.”
