A total of 272 companies participated in the 26th Kazubild International Building Construction and Interior Decoration Fair, which was held in Almaty, the largest city of Kazakhstan, between 4-6 September 2019. The next fair will take place 8-10 September 2020.
Visitors and participants from countries including Belarus, Belgium, China, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United states and Vietnam participated in Kazbuild Fair in Kazakhstan, which is where highest Turkish investments are made among Turkic Republics in the Central Asia. More than 4 thousand sector professionals had the opportunity to exhibit their products during the three days. Total value of Turkish investments is approximately USD 1.8 billion
Meridian International Fair Company, the organizer of Turkey’s National Participation gave the following information the Kazakhstan market: “The total amount of Turkish investments in Kazakhstan exceeded 1.8 billion dollars. Turkish companies in the country are concentrated in trade, telecommunications, hotel management, supermarket management, contracting, petroleum products and food manufacturing. Turkey is one of the 10 leading investor companies operating in the mining sector in Kazakhstan. With its partner Butya, from the Koç Group opened seven major shopping centers, four in Almaty, one in Astana, one in Karaganda and one in Shymkent. Turkish contracting companies have also undertaken very important projects in the country. The Turkish companies in the country made projects such as Astana International Airport, Parliament Building, Presidential Residence, Regent Ankara Hotel, Okan Intercontinental Astana, Children’s Rehabilitation Center, National Museum, State Guesthouse, Ahmet Yesevi University, Astana Twin Towers, GSM Telecommunication infrastructure, Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline as well as other important projects. In addition to these projects, various shopping centers, highways and factory projects have been completed.”
