Our Future is in Quarries
President Aydin Dinçer said: “Despite the fact that the value of Turkey’s mineral exports is registered as US $ 4 billion, the actual figures reach US $ 25 billion with the addition of value-added products (copper wires, chemical products, etc.). For this reason, we will work hard in order our public to realize the importance of quarries in Turkey.”
Projects for 2018

We will do our best to give Turkish stones the deserved value especially by reaching the buyer groups in A + category. For this purpose, we will introduce the “Turkish Stones” brand by attending the MIPIM 2018 fair in Cannes, France, where the world’s leading contractors, architects and project companies come together.”
Promise from the Authorities
Dinçer, who gave us information after the meetings in Ankara said: “In the meetings, we discussed about the importance of working in collaboration with promotion groups, Aegean Exporters’ Association and other sectoral associations and foundations in promoting the “Turkish Stones” brand in the world. We agreed on transforming our natural stone and mineral resources into products with high added value through Re & De activities and stated the necessity of marketing our products in the new target markets in order to increase our country’s export volume. In addition, we discussed the most important problems of the sector, such as the forest permits and licenses, at the meeting.
