Al Hambra Palace, shaped by the investor’s desire about to use Alhamra Palace as a hotel concept and architectural project by KRT Architecture, interior architecture project by Art Architecture (Hakan Külahçı) and natural stone applications are carried into effect by Serkaya Mining,is a privileged project where the architecture of era is integrated with today’s modernity.
The influence of Islamic art
Al Hambra Palace, that built on an area of 60 thousand square meters parallel to beach of Antalya Çolaklı; just opposite the beauty of the Mediterranean, represents the influence of Islamic art and the grandeur of the palace with its arches, columns, column heads, bases, gold gilding and 35 domes. The lobby is one of the areas of the hotel, which is mainly used with natural motives. In this section, an important detail that is frequently encountered in Islamic art, ‘girih’ draws attention. The lobby floors which is inspired by girih art and designed with light beige, gold and onyx stones, offers a rich visual feast to its guests.

In the project that the effect of Islamic art is tried to be reflected, the main restaurant has a more modern style. In the hotel with its own architectural language, where the era architecture is integrated with today’s modernity the main restaurant is floored with natural stone works of Perlato, Dark Beige and Usak White. The Alacarte restaurant is dominated by Gold Beige, Light Beige, Usak White and Travertine Noce stones, while Perlato on the bed floors and granite works on the bathrooms are striking. In Al Hambra, standing as the example of Serkaya Mining’s perfect natural stone craftsmanship, highly appreciated with its 14 CNC applications.

In the hotel which amazes with natural stone technics; Burdur Beige (Serkaya Mining) 11,000 square meters, Dark Beige (Bursa) 2,000 square meters, Onyx (Persia) 2.000 square meters, Usak White (Ceylan Marble) 1,000 square meters, Traverten Noce (Teknomar) 1.500 square meters, Perlato (Portsan) 5,000 square meters, Emperador Dark (Spain) 500 square meters, Usak White (Ceylan Marble) 700 square meters, Manyas White (Topkara Marble) 700 square meters in total, 24 thousand 400 square meters of natural stone was used.
