Cenal Mining Production, Quality Control and Sales Representative Alper Küçükbezirci said: “We reacticvated our quarry in 2022. Aiming to reveal the power of nature, we are producing large-scale blocks with impeccable workmanship. Our Calacatta Gold stone, which we produce by highlighting its thin or thick yellow veins on a light white and yellowish background, also shows us the power of nature in this sense. We beautify the spaces and we apply the inspiration we get from nature to the living spaces. This is the most enjoyable part of our job.”
Zero crystal structure
Calacatta Gold is a marble with maximum polishing capacity. Its crystal structure is zero and it can transmit up to 70% light with its transparent feature. It has 2.75 density and 4 degree hardness. Thanks to its structural robustness, block and plate production can be realized to a large extent. Alper Kü.ükbezirci said: “Some stones do not require any strengthening such as epoxy, bundle and net in slab and cut to size production. Therefore we only cut and polish them before we sell. Our Calacatta Gold stones can optionally be applied block bundle, slab, back netting and surface epoxy treatments depending on their color, pattern and sizes. Any chemical can deface our stone.”

Calacatta Gold, which has a wide usage area such as indoor or outdoor flooring as well as decoration and restoration works, can be processed as countertop and wall covering. Kü.ükbezirci said: “We are able to make bookmatch designs in big sizes thanks to the richness of patterns. Since cross cut and vein cut can be cut from each block, we can easily offer the bookmatch application from the entire block to our customers if requested.
