Izmir Marble Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, which is one of the world’s first three leading fairs in natural stone sector, will be starting the “Young Creative Ideas Platform” project in its 24th year.
The project, which aims to bring together the students and graduates of departments such as industrial design, interior architecture, landscape and architecture, will be realized at Izmir MARBLE Fair to be held between 28-31 March 2018 at Fuarİzmir.
Designs must be original
The conditions for participation to the Young Creative Ideas Platform, where original and producible designs from designers are expected and will be held under the theme “Change”, are:
*Participants should be between ages 18- and 30.
*Participants should be graduated or currently studying in undergraduate and associate degree departments in the design departments such as industrial design, interior architecture, landscape and architecture and / or branches affiliated with fine arts faculties such as ceramics and sculptor.
*Participants should be one of those well-known names or brands in the sector. They should not own registered business in their own name in any sector related to production and design of natural stone.
*Participants can participate in the platform with more than one design.
* Any partner, employee or first-degree relative of any of İZFAŞ employees or members of the jury cannot participate in the platform.
* Partners, employees or first-degree relatives of employees or owners of supporting companies cannot participate in the platform.
* All projects presented to the Platform should be authentic and should not have been produced and presented to public before. In the case of detection of any inconsistency with these conditions, the project will be disqualified.
Top 3 Projects Will Get Money Awards
As result of the jury evaluation, İZFAŞ will award the best 3 projects, 5,000 TL cash prize and a special design plaque titles “Marble Most Original Design Award”. Detailed information about the event can be found at http://marble.izfas.com.tr/genc-yaratici-fikirler-platformu.
