Would you like to go to a white beach like the Maldives without actually going to the Maldives? I hear you say, “How could it be?”. What if we say that the photos you see on the page are taken in our country and not in the Maldives and this white, dreamlike beach is reached via Turkish stone…. Ermaş Marble has created this extraordinary beach, which astonishes with its beauty.
In today’s conditions, is it sufficient to have a product and sufficient capital in order to ensure a competitive advantage in the market? If you have all of this, but if you don’t have the imagination and creativity to come up with a ‘different’ one, is it still possible to succeed? Of course not. To be successful and to sustain it, you need to go beyond the limits. Ermaş Marble, which has been operating in the natural stone sector since 1985, combines its years of experience with its creative identity and puts its signature under the works that make a difference in the sector, and white sandy beaches made of white marble waste are emerging…
350 tons of marble
Ermaş Marble, which developed a project in order to evaluate the waste of Muğla White Marble, has decided to implement an application that is also used in Carrera beaches of Italy and the result is marvellous. 350 tons of Muğla White Marble and White Marble varieties were used on the beach of the beautiful Lujo Hotel (Bodrum). Underlining the fact that marble to be used as sand at beaches should be calcite mine, Ermaş Vice Chairman Kemal Ercan explained the stage of marbles transforming into beach sand as follows: “Appropriate color stones are taken from the quarry and broken with crusher. The products are crushed and sieved at 0 mm and 150 mm in the crushing and screening plant. The recommended size for beach sand is 1mm-4mm. ”
Tested and confirmed!
Kemal Ercan said that, apart from the Lujo hotel, they also supply the beach sand of Bodrum Hotel (Bodrum), Max Royal (Antalya), Majestique Beach (Bodrum) and Royal Arena Hotel (Bodrum) with this method. He also made an explanation regarding the negative news about these type of beach sands as follows: “Beach sands need to be made of calcite mine. Earlier beach sands had been produced from quars mine, which is harmful to health. Quars product is known to be harmful to human health due to its structure. The calcite mine has no harm and even has been shown to be beneficial to health as it kills bacteria. ”
Professor Dr. Taki Güler and Assoc. Dr. Avni Güler confirmed that marble dust can be used as beach sand.
